Lance Rice VHS Hope Scholarship 2017

One of our primary goals is providing scholarships to students with autism and disabilities. Currently members at Lance’s Room are privately funding this year’s Lance Rice Hope Scholarship, a scholarship awarded to a special education student from Vermilion High School (Lance’s alma mater). This deserving student is selected by the school’s administration and staff based on character, academic and extracurricular dedication and need. Lance Rice (pictured here) graduated from Vermilion High School/Ehove Joint Vocational School in 1977.

Future Scholarship Availability

As we grow we hope the future sees many more scholarships available for students nationwide. Lance’s Room is currently staffed by volunteers and is not in a period of fundraising. Contributions currently donated to Lance’s Room will be added to our general scholarship fund as we hope to award an additional national scholarship by the fall of 2017.

If you are interested in being notified of additional scholarships when the become available, please use this contact form to be added to our mailing list. As soon as additional scholarships become available, you will be given application details.
